The Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia, has called upon new National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members deployed to the state to serve Nigeria with unwavering loyalty and dedication. During the opening ceremony of the orientation course at the NYSC Camp in Wannune, Alia emphasized the significant role these young individuals play in shaping the future of the nation. He urged them to prioritize the NYSC’s skill acquisition and entrepreneurship programs, highlighting their potential for personal and professional growth. Alia also reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the corps members throughout their service in Benue State, commending the efforts of the NYSC officials in providing essential leadership training. The State Coordinator, Veronica Garba, expressed gratitude for the state government’s support, including regular allowances for the corps members. She also acknowledged the state’s investment in improving the orientation camp’s infrastructure.
