The Bangladesh government has reshuffled its judiciary, transferring 81 judicial officials of various ranks. This move, implemented through four separate gazette notifications, follows advice from the Supreme Court on August 29th. All transferred judges, except one, are required to report to their new workplaces by September 3rd. The exception is Mohammad Asaduzzaman Khan, who was transferred from the Feni Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal to Chittagong as District and Sessions Judge. He has been instructed to join his new post after handing over his responsibilities on September 1st.
