The Bangladesh National Football team has arrived in Thimphu, Bhutan, to compete in two FIFA International Friendlies against the host nation. The team departed Dhaka on Friday afternoon, embarking on a journey to prepare for the matches scheduled for September 5th and 8th. The 23-member squad includes four players from the recently concluded SAFF U-20 Champions Bangladesh team: forward Mirajul Islam, Rabby Hossain Rahul, Chandan Roy, and defender Shakil Ahad. The team has been training for the past three days under the guidance of Spanish Head Coach Javier Cabrera, who announced the final squad on Thursday. In preparation for the high-altitude conditions, the team arrived in Thimphu five days prior to the first match to acclimate. The Bangladesh team is looking to capitalize on these friendly matches as a valuable opportunity to gain valuable experience and strengthen their team dynamics before future competitions.
