The Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry of Bangladesh has appointed Abul Fazal Palash, a lawyer practicing in the Supreme Court, as the new Assistant Attorney General. This appointment comes after the government revoked the appointments of all previous Assistant Attorneys General. The ministry has also announced the appointment of 66 new Deputy Attorneys General in a separate notification. Palash, a native of Chandpur District, has been practicing law in the Dhaka District and Sessions Judge Court since 2010 and is a member of the Bangladesh Bar Council.
