The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) in Azerbaijan has been actively preparing for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Baku, with a particular focus on ensuring the safety of spectators and participants. A training program for marshals, organized by the MES and the Baku City Circuit Operational Company, aimed to enhance their skills in fire prevention and response. The training, which included both theoretical and practical components, involved approximately 200 marshals, including 68 firefighters and rescuers from the MES. The theoretical session covered fire safety protocols, prevention strategies, and rescue operations, while the practical portion focused on the use of specialized equipment and techniques. The training program, which began in June, is now in its fifth iteration, demonstrating the ministry’s commitment to ensuring a secure event.
