Austrian Defender Daniliuc Moves to Hellas Verona on Loan

Austrian defender Flavius Daniliuc has joined Italian Serie A club Hellas Verona on loan from US Salernitana, just before the transfer window closed. The club announced the move on Saturday, stating they have also secured a purchase option for the player. Daniliuc, 23, spent the first half of the year on loan at Salzburg. He is a three-time Austrian national team player and was part of the squad for the European Championship in Germany, although he didn’t feature in any matches.
