Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has accused Armenia of deliberately stalling peace efforts and showing no genuine interest in achieving lasting peace. Aliyev, during a meeting with a Turkish parliamentary delegation, emphasized that Armenia’s constitution still contains claims on Azerbaijani territories, hindering progress. He also highlighted Armenia’s continued military cooperation with other countries, including France, and its refusal to dissolve the Minsk Group, an organization formed to mediate the conflict. Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan is committed to a peaceful resolution and a stable region, but believes Armenia’s actions demonstrate a lack of sincerity in achieving lasting peace.
