An unemployed man in Alexandria, Egypt, has been sentenced to life in prison for attempting to murder a cafe worker. The incident stemmed from a prior dispute between the two individuals. The defendant, identified as Z.M.H., ambushed the victim, G.U.U., on a public street and stabbed him in the head and hand. The victim, who sustained a fractured skull and severe injuries to his hand, was rushed to the hospital by bystanders. The court found Z.M.H. guilty of attempted murder and sentenced him to life imprisonment, also ordering him to pay legal fees.
