Flamengo has officially registered Argentine midfielder Carlos Alcaraz with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), clearing the way for his debut with the Rio de Janeiro club. Alcaraz’s name has been included in the CBF’s Daily Information Bulletin (BID), making him eligible to play for Flamengo. He is expected to be included in the squad for Sunday’s match against Corinthians at Neo Química Arena. Alcaraz participated in Friday’s training session, marking his first time working with the Flamengo squad. The final decision on whether he will play in the match will be made after Saturday’s training session. Along with Alcaraz, Brazilian defender Alex Sandro is also cleared to debut for Flamengo. However, Ecuadorian forward Gonzalo Plata, who was announced on Friday, is expected to be registered next week.
