Al-Nassr has reportedly agreed to release defender Abdulelah Al-Amri during the current summer transfer window. According to the publication ‘Asharq Al-Awsat,’ Al-Ittihad Jeddah and another unnamed club are interested in signing the Saudi defender. Al-Ittihad is said to be keen on bringing Al-Amri on board after their failed attempt to sign West Ham’s defender Nayef Aguerd, who rejected an offer from the Saudi club. Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad has submitted a formal offer to West Ham for Aguerd, involving a loan fee of €5 million and an option to buy for €20 million. Aguerd, who joined West Ham from French club Rennes in the summer of 2022 for £30 million, has been a key player for the London club, appearing in 58 matches and scoring 4 goals over the past few seasons.
