The third edition of the Al Jazeera Documentary Industry Days (AJD Industry Days) is set to take place from September 14th to 16th in Sarajevo, during the Al Jazeera Balkans Documentary Film Festival. This year’s focus is on documentaries that tell human stories, delve into pressing social issues, and champion universal values, with a special emphasis on underrepresented regions in the documentary filmmaking industry. The event aims to facilitate deeper understanding through cultural exchange and promote international cooperation. A record-breaking 270 documentary projects from approximately 50 countries were submitted, with 29 selected for showcasing across four categories. The event will feature presentations, networking opportunities, and discussions with over 80 international decision-makers and 50 producers and filmmakers.
